A man from Jupiter, Florida was arrested for throwing a live alligator into a Wendy’s restaurant drive-through east of Loxahatchee.<\/p>\n
Joshua James, 23, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, illegally possessing an alligator, and second-degree larceny, according to the Palm Beach Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
Also, he did not have a permit to carry a concealed alligator.\u00a0 Florida is not an open alligator carry state, like Texas.<\/p>\n
He has not been released on bail as of this week.\u00a0 The incident occurred in October, but James had only been arrested recently.<\/p>\n
Apparently James pulled up for his order, and after a server handed a drink and turned around, James tossed the 3 1\/2-foot gator into the drive-through window.\u00a0 Reportedly he yelled, \u201cSee Ya Later\u201d just seconds before the toss.\u00a0 The register girl screamed in panic, but the quick-thinking fry cook yelled out, \u201cAfter a While Crocodile!\u201d just in time for James to hear it and smile, before he drove off.<\/p>\n
The Manager was quoted as saying, \u201cIt was very odd.\u00a0 And I looked in the handbook but didn\u2019t know what the proper change was for an alligator.\u00a0 I would think it\u2019s at least one turtle and a couple of opossums, but I\u2019m waiting for an email back.\u00a0 Oh, and our employees were injured, but nobody died.\u00a0 Thank Goodness, because that would\u2019ve been extra paperwork for me.\u201d<\/p>\n
Just a few days later, at the same Wendy\u2019s, a man threw a baboon into the drive thru and yelled, \u201cSee you soon!\u201d\u00a0 But reportedly the police determined that it wasn\u2019t any kind of a crime.\u00a0 And now the baboon works there, happily cleaning up, and helping customers at the self-service kiosks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
