After her first 5 years of elementary school, she realized she was working for free. Madi had this to say, \u201cTeachers keep piling on the work\u2026..and I was thinking, shouldn\u2019t I get paid if I am working\u2026..my mom and dad get paid\u2026..a group of my besties and I got together and formed a class action lawsuit for lost wages from first grade thru 5<sup>th<\/sup> grade\u2026..we won!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Today Madi and her friends each make six figures going to school and if they have to stay after school they get paid overtime. Madi also negotiated a year-end bonus\u00a0 which teachers don\u2019t even get.
