Alternative Dad

The teenage years are not easy for many kids and parents don’t make it easier. John Kinsely, of Los Angeles launched a new company called “Alternative Dad”. We recently spent time with him, and he explained how the new platform works and interacts in families. “Once a kid is over 14, they can downland the app Alternative Dad…they customize what they want their dad to be like…hit submit….then big strong guys come in their home that are dressed with stockings over their heads……they haul out the father of the family for a week in a nondisclosed location…..Alternative Dad appears and is exactly how a teenage kid would always hope……swears…tells dirty jokes….lets you stay up super late…..leave the house a mess….gives you money with out questioning how you are spending it……lets you leave the house like shit!” After the full week is up, Alternative dad is killed by a hired sniper and your real dad is returned. We find when the real dad is returned that the relationship with the kids only get better.

Parenting innovation continues to evolve.
