Anti HOA

HOAs around the country can be the most annoying people to deal with when living in a community. Usually, it is filled with people with way too much time on their hands and have nothing better to do than to measure each blade of grass on a lawn to see if it meets the community’s crazy guidelines. They are quick to take a picture of your trash can left out too long after pickup and excited to send you a letter with a fine. These people are out of control and the anti-HOA is a new community starting to make its way across the country. Adam Pelfer creator of Anti HOA shared his thoughts on his community, “We started Anti-HOA as a way to stop having to deal with troubled seniors with too much time on their hands. We have our own community guidelines and rules. First rule is you have to be a full-time worker to be on our board. Our rules are the anti-rules of rules, we have a don’t be a dick rule, where if 75% of the community votes that you are a dick, you get fined $100/day until you stop being a dick. Our newest rule is the anti-Karen rule, where if you become a complainer about stupid stuff, you get fined $100/day. So far, the rules have kept our neighbors in place, and no one has been fined. We tried to put in a topless Tuesday, but Marty Applebaum kept on running around shaking his double Ds and no kid should have to see that, so we nixed that idea.”

Many communities around the country are following the anti-HOA to see how it goes with the hopes of replacing their current HOA along with the A-holes who are currently out to get every normal person. No one should get fined for having their car barely hovering over the sidewalk at least that is what most Americans are telling us at MPL. Please HOAs leave us the F alone and let us live in peace, free from stupid fines.
