Big Mack Attack

While theme restaurants are all the rage nowadays, a new chain is opening with a twist on a well-known establishment.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Mack Donald’s.

Mack Donald’s is a fast-food burger chain with a McDonald’s theme.

The star attraction on the menu will be the Big Mack. Two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, on a poppyseed bun.

They will also have a mascot clown named Ron “Mack” Donald.

The owners, Jerry and Stu Bowie, have said that this idea has been in the works for several years. They have just finally received the financial backing that they have been searching for.

“No one wanted any part of this,” Stu told us. “It was like we were leppers. No one wanted any part of us. Not after the “In A Cup’ franchise went tits up.”

You may recall the very short-lived In A Cup restaurants. All meals were diced and served in 12 Oz. Styrofoam cups.

Jerry went on to tell us, “Pizza In A Cup. Porterhouse In A Cup. Burger In A Cup. Lasagna In A Cup. They were all delicious! I think it was these hippie pinkos and their damn politics against Styrofoam. I don’t think the food had anything to do with it. So when we changed from Styrofoam to paper cups, it was just too late. We never got our mojo back.”

Stu added, “I loved Pizza In A Cup. That was my favorite. Mom’s recipe. After she saw the Jerk, with Steve Martin, Mom decided to serve all of our meals in a cup. That’s when we decided, ‘Hey! Who wouldn’t like this?’ Damn Styrofoam!”

Jerry explained that the new Mack Donald’s will have the “Yellow Arches” mounted atop all of the restaurants. Not to be confused with the “Golden Arches” that rest above McDonald’s restaurants.

“It’s an age-old adage. The highest form of flattery is imitation. That’s all we’re doing. You have 1950’s themed Diners. There are Rock and Roll themed bars. Why not a McDonald’s themed burger joint?” Stu asked with a smile.

So dumb it just might work… but probably not.
