Blind Mohel

Now you can see exactly what Barry Bromowitz sees every day, absolutely nothing.  Barry has been blind his whole life and he will not let it stop him from doing his dream job, being a master mohel. Barry has always dreamed of being South Florida’s top mohel and has made that dream a reality. He has created his own system to navigate kid’s and men’s penises to complete what he calls “the most amazing circumcision you have ever seen, and one I will never see.” We asked Barry about his magnificent accomplishment of becoming the blind mohel, “I never doubted that I would become a mohel, first off, it does not require a medical degree. All I needed to do was pass this online course and a 2-hour clinic. I am sure it may have seemed weird at first as I was asking to touch babies’ penises all the time, but once I explained the reason, they handed their kids right over to me. I needed about 80 hrs. of navigating these small penises and started to work with an older mohel who had Parkinson’s. I became his hands and he was my eyes, I was becoming an expert which led to my secret weapon, the braille penis wrap, it helps me navigate the unit and cut the foreskin with perfection.”

Unfortunately for Barry he is being sued by a 28-year-old who underwent a circumcision with disastrous results. Barry’s attorney claims that the after he wrapped the penis with the braille wrapping and began his procedure, the client unfortunately had genital herpes which Barry misread as the braille. “Barry cannot be held responsible”, his attorney claims for the client now being called two inch Tony.
