Doctor Can’t Use Braille During Surgery

Share

Dr. Steven Tedberg has been a heart surgeon for the last three decades. However, it has recently been brought to the hospital’s attention that Dr. Tedberg never disclosed he was blind. Additionally, his nursing staff didn’t know he was blind until last week. Dr. Tedberg pulled out what appeared to be directions in braille on how to perform heart surgery. After Tedberg was put on administrative leave, he has been seen driving an autonomous car. We spoke with one of his nurses and here is what she had to say, “The guy is a genius, three decades of performing surgeries and saving people’s lives by way of reading braille directions…. sometimes he would brag that he could perform surgery with a blindfold……he recently admitted, he never needed to be blindfolded………now this all makes more sense”.
