Entire Legislative Branch Laid Off Today

The legislative branch has been around for 237 years. As of today, the entire Legislative branch has been laid off. The entire House of Representatives and Senate are now all on the streets looking for new jobs. The big question that is being asked, how will laws get pushed through today or into the future? The severance package included a full pension and several other unique benefits:
- New teeth
- CPAP machine
- New walker (with no tennis balls)
- Memory foam mattress in the shape of each branch members dead uncle
- Mole replacement surgery for life

My dad was a senator and died awhile back. I am convinced he is still working in the Senate as a dead person.
