GOP Governors Confuse Climate Change with Gender Identity

Ron DeSantis and a handful of his fellow conservative Republican Governors have been pushing new laws to ban climate change and any mention of climate change in their state school curriculum. “No child in this great State should be exposed to these books that will brainwash our kids into changing their clothes because of the climate. Getting into bathroom wars about who is using which toilet and what makes a toilet overflow is not a good use of our time,” he said at the Family Snack Council, a Christian right organization. DeSantis’ words suggest he misunderstands that climate change refers to broad weather patterns and natural disasters that are caused by human effects on our planet, not drag queen men dressing as women for entertainment or using a woman’s toilet to take a dump. I for one don’t believe it for a second. He knows exactly what he is saying, but he is manipulating the average dumber than a rock Florida Man for votes in the next election. I heard DeSantis is planning to ban the dicktionairy in Florida schools too… guess why!
