High Incidence of Hernias Among Amish

It has been recently reported that there is a high incidence of hernias among the Amish population. The numbers are staggering. Many Amish are working with urologist outside of their Amish land. Here is what Dr. Franks had to say outside of Pittsburgh, “Well, these guys don’t shave anything and that pretty includes everything…..with that said, pretty tough to see or get to anything…….for the moment, we are working in partnership with Manscaped to clean up this mess before we can go further……..could be months to get this under control…..each patient had a bowl cut below the waist…..really disturbing…..Physician, Larry Nassar (formerly gymnastics coach) will be performing all hernia tests on a volunteer basis”.
