If You Like Yellowstone, Don’t Miss This One!

With the hit television show “Yellowstone” going into syndication this week, many of us get the opportunity to watch it again or see it for the first time. It’s a must-see!  It is absolutely AMAZING!

Kevin Costner as the hardened Patriarch Rancher forced into politics to combat his own blood to protect his own. Kelly Reilly as the tough-as-nails, but sexy Daughter that will protect her father’s interests, and her own, by whatever means necessary. Cole Hauser as the Ranch Boss that keeps the place running like a well-oiled machine while stealing the stone-heart of the First Daughter. It’s an incredible show. If you have not seen it, I really would encourage you to do so now that it is free to watch and doesn’t just have to be streamed on a for-pay network.

It is a shame though that Kevin Costner pulled the plug on the show without getting a proper ending to what happens at Yellowstone Ranch.

But, like anything in life, we are always looking for the next best thing. And Yellowstone Fans, your wish is the Cartoon Network’s command.

Not known for much in the way of drama television, mostly known for fun cartoons, the CN has never really brought any hard-hitting Action to their network… UNTIL NOW!!! I am thrilled to say that the CN has delivered the goods!

Jellystone!

An evil Park Ranger known as Mr. Ranger, lets travelers from far and wide set up camps and picnics in Jellystone National Park. They treat the campgrounds like they own them. They bring loud music, games, children, food, beverages, and just go wild. They have no respect for the Natives of Jellystone. And the Natives are getting restless.

One Native and his loyal assistant have had enough. Yogi Bear and his partner, Boo Boo, have made the decision to wreak havoc on the tourists. They go on an absolute rampage stealing every picnic basket that they can find. They wear elaborate disguises. Sometimes even pushing LBGTQ+ boundaries by dressing as little old ladies to finagle picnic baskets and food from young, impressionable men. The show really touches on all current political issues and world events.

Mr. Ranger is constantly trying to catch Yogi and Boo Boo. It’s very early in season one, so I don’t want to give away any spoilers. I will just say this; Yogi and Boo Boo have evaded Mr. Ranger completely, so far. So, there has not been any hard violence yet. Lots of foot chases, though.

I am hooked!

With the early success of Jellystone, the CN has also announced its next series coming in the Fall. It’s a documentary on the illegal trade of wild animals. It’s titled, “Magilla Gorilla For Sale.”

I can’t wait.
