Margret Stoopidge new it was time to start a company after working as the VP of Marketing for several fortune 500 companies. Her role over the years was being the catalyst to severe lay offs and this always bothered her. She thought, there has to be a better way to get rid of people and make it a little more benign and less obtrusive.
ILayuOff LLC was born out of necessity and instilling efficiencies for large companies. Margret had this to say about how the platform works, “You email us where the lay off needs to take place……we don’t work for the company, however we call as if we do….we layoff the employee and offer them a very generous severance package that doesn’t exist…..after not showing up at work, the company calls them and they immediately get fired for blowing off work…at that point they are let go immediately…no real sev package…the company saves money and the head count is reduced……..oddly, the employee is happy to know ILayuOff is going to recruit them…..from there, we hire them to work for us helping in the field as a nonrecuiter…..we continue to hire at ILayUOff and falsely lay people off people at companies globally…..our staff keeps growing and the companies we nonrecruit for save money…time and opportunity cost is paying dividends!”
Bill Pants had this to say, “Stop making fun of my last name….anyways, I love working at ILayuOff because Margret Stoopidge, the CEO, is the only person I know who has a name worse than mine….AWFUL!”
