Ever since the pandemic movie theatres have been trying to pull in audiences any way they can. Movie making production company Onyx has come up with a new interactive movie experience. The CEO of Onyx Meredith N. Yurphase explained their new innovative way to watch a movie, “For so long, movie makers have wanted moviegoers to feel as though they were in the movies and with our new first person movie experience, they now can do that. We have unique suits that viewers wear that enables them to feel when someone touches the main character in the movie. When it rains, our new theater has the ability for water to come down from the ceiling, so you better cover up your popcorn. You will leave the theater thinking you were in the movie because you will have had that 4D experience.”

While most people have had a fantastic experience in this new movie going experience, some people are not fans of this new technology. Juan Martin and Onyx test subject of this new technology is suing them over his experience. Juan explained, “The first movie I saw was a love story and it was awesome, I could feel the love interest touch me, I could smell her perfume and daisies were even falling from the ceiling and all that, it really was amazing. I should have stopped there and never saw the next movie, which happened to be a boxing movie. I ended up breaking my jaw in the 3rd round of the main fight scene and that wasn’t the worst part. The main character had a car accident, and I had no idea the seats could roll over like they did and how in the world did they put airbags in the seat in front of me, it almost knocked me out. The doctor said I should be able to walk again with physical therapy, but time will tell.”

The new technology is ready for to go nationwide this fall, but Onyx now has a new kind of rating system based on genre. We at MediaPub.Live suggest a love story or comedy for your first film.
