Into The Wild…..Hitchhiking?

Hitchhiking has been hippyish for decades and an amazing way to see the country. However, a new trend is taking over called PiggyBack. It is growing all over Fairbanks Alaska. As cars drive up and down the street drivers have their thumbs up hanging out the window on the drivers’ side. As they see pedestrians they pull their car over….from that point, they voluntarily grab these innocent people walking down the street and give them piggyback rides.

The increase in gas prices and people’s weight gain from Covid has made “PiggyBack” thrive and grow exponentially.
