Jenny Craig Adds New Meals to Cater to Body Positive Market

Jenny Craig has long been a staple of the diet-conscious community, helping men and women shed unwanted pounds by providing specifically portioned, moderately healthy, easy meal options. However, with declining profits and a shift in the market toward body positivity instead of actual health, Jenny Craig is making adjustments to meet new demands. Now, in lieu of healthy meals, the company is offering it’s Body Positive line called Hardy Meals, which feature plates with 10,000 calories of carb and sugar loaded concoctions. Deep fried hamburgers, pizza grease soup, french fry batter balls, butter sandwiches and more top the list of the new meal options, and market research continues as they strive to find the perfect combination of junk food to appease the public. With just three easy meals a day, Jenny Craig subscribers can consume a whopping 30,000 calories, and be well on their way to a body positive figure that’s sure to get the media’s attention. We reached out to Jenny Craig for comment on the company’s evolving mission, and their spokesperson had this to say, “We at Jenny Craig work hard to remain in business, day in and day out, and since people no longer want to look and feel good, we’re doing our best to give them the fat and happy appearance that will allow them to fit in with the herd. You used to have to eat three Jenny Craig meals to get to 1800 calories, now you can get there in three bites. That’s unbelievable progress that we’re very proud of.” Before the recent controversy, Lizzo was expected to be the face of the new campaign, and they even designed a signature dessert, The Banana Lizzo – a chocolate covered banana stuffed between two large slices of roast beef, but that seems to be on pause until there is a resolution to the legal process. When asked if they would continue to make the healthy meals they were known for as well, the spokesperson threw a doughnut at us and walked away.
