Moon Hotel

Marriott Hotel has decided to build a hotel on the moon. They plan on completing this project in 2050 and hopes are they can begin in 2030. Marriott Hotel’s Chief Operations Officer Mr. Spacely explains the new venture, “We are excited to be the first hotel on the moon. There are many hurdles to overcome before we can see the fruits of our labor. First, we have to train construction workers to be able to work in space, not exactly an easy task. We also have to send all the materials needed to build the hotel. We realize the cost will be astronomical but that is why we are starting to take reservations and accepting down payments. The hotel will also include a 5-star restaurant that will be able to claim to be the truly one and only out this world dining experience.”

The room rate is not that expensive at $150 per night, however the resort fee is $2500 per night. When you add that to the cost of transportation, you are looking at well over $150,000 dollar for a week stay. So, if you are rich and want an out of this world experience you may want to book it soon. Despite not even being open there is a Yelp review of the hotel that says, “Great Hotel, but the atmosphere is lacking.”
