A new commercial high-rise development in the heart of San Francisco is doing it’s part to provide inclusivity to the various genders and ideologies by having individual bathrooms for all. The 10-story Celinto Catayente Towers is expected to have it’s grand opening on September 1st, and markets itself as the first fully bathroom-friendly office building in the world. With a total of 7 office spaces available spread out across 7 floors, and 500 bathrooms spread over 8 floors -an entire floor is dedicated to bathrooms- with two additional floors for parking, the building is expected to garner incredible interest from companies looking to provide an inclusive environment. Building designer Pat Francis was asked about what went into the design, “We wanted this building to represent San Francisco and the inclusivity that we stand for, so we designed bathrooms for men, for women, for Trans men, for Trans women, for Theys, for Thems, for Non-binary folks, for non-gendered folks, for pansexuals, A-sexuals, and literally every other type of bathroom option you can think of. We have left no stone un-turned to ensure that everyone feels included and considered when they need to use the commode. We even installed a urinal trough and a series of toilets on the wall outside of the building, so that the homeless have somewhere other than the sidewalk to do their business. We expect it to reduce the amount of feces on our lobby floors by 75% compared to other buildings in the area.” When asked if conservatives of all genders, creeds, and pronouns would be allowed to rent office space in the building, Francis was quick to add, “Fuck no. Fuck them. And fuck you for asking.” Pat then stormed off, concluding our brief interview. The Celinto Catayente Towers is located minutes from downtown, and provides the ideal location for inclusive businesses looking for limited office space and ample restroom availability
