NFL Players Leaving the League Due to Fantasy Draft

Several players in the NFL have left the game. Each of them had concerns about future injuries. However, they were drafted by fantasy football teams and immediately added to rosters. The issue now is they didn’t realize that they still need to be active in the NFL to be part of these teams. Due to the nature of this situation the players are lobbying for a new law that allows them to be part of fantasy football….be on a real NFL roster…….but never have to play. More players are now leaving the league to get on fantasy football teams, but remain inactive in the NFL and still obtain an NFL contract. We spoke with one player who wanted to remain nameless, “I have always been good at gambling and being lazy….this is a perfect match….the only way I would go back to the NFL is if I could play remotely! “
