No Assets Make It Easy

Bill Nomulla went through an awful divorce and job loss at the same time. However, he walked away from his divorce a very happy man. MPL caught up with him to learn about this crazy story and here is what he had to say, “Well, I had no money, so I gave my ex-wife half of everything which was nothing……no money in the bank account….take half the money, all yours….I am homeless, take the house…….no money in the stock market….please take half of the equities we don’t have……I have no car, you can have all the vehicles we don’t have…..I learned that having no assets truly has its advantages…..in fact, I set up a company that shows men who are about to get divorced how to get fired from their job and lose all of their assets…I take no money from these services….this way I can write off my ordinary income as a loss and also not owe my wife alimony (because I can’t afford it)…..Easter was great… didn’t have to paint or have an egg hunt….don’t have the money to buy either….living the dream!”
