No Need for Charging Stations for Electric Cars

Share

The EV market has been challenged by the infrastructure needing to be built to provide charging stations that replicate what we see with gas stations. There should never be a concern to find a charging station for EV and EV drivers should always find comfort in knowing charging ports are accessible at all times. However, that has not been the case. A new company (LONGPLUG+ Corp.) just released its first product. It is a chord that is 550 miles long. You can plug the chord into an outlet in your home…..then in your car…..and drive up to 550 miles before you hit a snag in the chord. We spoke with one driver who is using the new product and here is what he had to say, “Oh….I got 550 miles no problem…….however, if you check the video on my phone you should see how this long chord screwed up everything behind me…..all things considered, this works………..nobody wanted to drive near me and I got the full 550 miles…….I can’t wait for them to roll out the 1000 mile chord and the 40 mile chord for new drivers who just received their license!”
