Ohhhh The Pandemic

The pandemic and all this family time over the years has created tension in many families. We were able to capture some sound bites from several families that show all of this engagement has created problems. At MPL, we felt it was important to share how you know your family has been challenged during all of these crazy years:

• Your mom farts on your dad like she normally does, but this time some shit comes out and he doesn’t care…..they are about to get divorced and somehow remain civil. He does the same thing to her, but she divorces him for good after that sick experience. The dynamics of love and gross have molded to this oddity. Ahhh… the throws of live and poetry.
• Your kids punch each other harder than normal, but that is not enough. Too much time in the house creates a true battlefield. The kids have been wearing fatigues and only have shot each other once with a high powered squirt gun that is more powerful than a fire hose. The kids say, “Mom…Dad….its a labor of love and awesome to see the water destroy the house…can we do it again?”
• Your dog plays dead but actually dies from sleeping to long. Your kids discover it, but decide to throw the dog in the freezer. Just this year they pull him out..throw him in the microwave and he wakes up like nothing happened. Good times!
• Your beard is so long that it takes on a life of its own…..as it hits the floor and collects all the crap in the floor it pulls up your little sister. She has been living in your beard all this time. She refuses to leave because her real rent is too high (inflation) and your beard is free. Let’s just say this is an fffd up situation all together. Who wrote this crap?

Time is of the essence and a time for us all to heal from all this craziness for moms……dads…..kids…..and pets……uncles we dislike……aunts we didn’t know until now.
