Opposite Day

Louis Zairman of Telecell Inc has become the leading expert in the telecommunications world and is sought out by many leading carriers for his expertise. Lou, as his friends and colleagues call him explained his success, “When I first started out everything I touched or did fail and so people started calling me loser man. If I worked people complained that my work sucked and if I didn’t work, people complained that I didn’t work. So in my mind it was better for me to not work and have people complain about me not working than exerting effort and have people tell me how bad I was. Crazy thing happened when Peter who I worked with said great job to me and laughed and then told me it was Opposite Day. I thought he was serious, so I started to do the opposite of everything I was doing in the past. For example I started to work and instead of doing what I used to do, I tried doing exactly the opposite of what I thought I should be doing and I haven’t stopped. As a result, people now love my work and I am the highest paid person in my company other than the CEO. The stupid thing is that I just do everything I think is wrong and they love it. It is a good thing Peter always insists that Opposite Day has been extended until further notice, I just hope it ends soon because it is exhausting but at least I get paid well.”
Nice! But I’m confused, should I give this a thumbs up or thumbs down?
