Pool Guards Go on Strike

As the summer winds down, pool guards across the country are going on strike to limited bathroom breaks between pool sessions. We spoke with Bill Peez and here is what he had to say, “This is my first summer as a pool guard, however I never have enough time to pee….so a bunch of us banded to together and went to the pool guard union….all we are asking for is more pee breaks where we just pee in the pool rather than have to walk in a bathroom…in that time we could save lives…..by peeing directly in the pool we are far more efficient….and let’s be realistic….these public pools are already filled with yellow snow……and guard pee tends to bring the PH up a bit which is a good thing……some the guards are ok with catheters on the job which is another possibility….next big initiative is to allow all animals in the pool other than dogs…guards in LA are stoked!”
