Deion Sanders has become the major news story of college football this season. Deion or “Prime Time” as he likes to be called is ready to up his game. During his playing career, Prime Time was a two-sport athlete excelling at football and baseball and he wants to do the same as a coach. Paul Shelby, assistant to the assistant director of athletics at the University of Colorado has shared with Media Pub Live Deions intentions saying, “Prime Time has reached out to us and is exploring adding an extra sport to coach. At first baseball made the most sense but Deion decided that was not going to branch out his appeal. So, he is now looking at becoming our newest head coach of women’s gymnastics. Sure, that is going to ruffle a few feathers, especially with the current coach, Gus Walters but by adding a unique women’s sport Deion will be expanding his marketing capabilities. Prime Time is also considering becoming the women’s diving coach should the gymnastics thing not work out. What is amazing is how quickly Deion becomes the expert in whatever sport he chooses. Just last week you could see Deion after football practice watching YouTube videos of Olympic divers. Minutes later you would see him climb the diving platform in a Colorado Speedo performing these incredible dives. In fact, he even tried the triple Lindy, which was incredible.”

We will see how well the next adventure for Deion takes place but if it is anything like his last, people will be lining up to watch. The most current rumor is that Deion wanted to coach Florida State and University of Colorado football at the same time but too many games were scheduled at the same time and Florida State refused to fire their current coach who is undefeated.
