Russ Davids of Santa Monica had a major life change early in life. He was diagnosed as a pedophile at 22 and as you would guess, served time. A tremendous source of embarrassment to his family and friends. However, his sad days are over, and no longer needs to be institutionalized nor pose any threat to innocent children.
Russ wanted to give back to a community he was so familiar with. He started a company called “Real Mascots” which launched in early of 2022. The company is thriving. Russ had this to say about how the concept works, “Well, I have several friends that are pedophiles…we all had struggles and have recovered…many of them are rehabbed and looking for jobs….my company employs all school mascots across the country and the NBA…my source of mascots are my old pedophile buddies…they are great with the kids…they show up early…leave late……let the kids sit in their laps for extended time…..I could not be happier….damn I’m giving back to my community….I mean “the” community!” It is awesome because I don’t have to be that involved…..always 2.73 miles away from all the excitement (by law).
