There is a saying that scars are tattoos with stories but when it comes to Rob Thunder from down under, it is more than that. Rob Thunder is an actor who plays tough guys in movies and uses scars to help secure roles in Hollywood movies. Rob Thunder from down under is from Sydney Australia and came to Hollywood to refine his craft. Rob explains his journey, “I knew ever since I was voted best looking at my high school, I wanted to use my good looks to secure my dream job of becoming an actor. I moved to Los Angeles to become famous but then I realized everyone else there was just as good looking as me. So, it finally hit me, in order to make it in Hollywood I needed to stand out from all the pretty faces. I went out that night with my two roommates and they ended up getting in a bar fight and a guy pulled a knife and cut my friend and the next week all that was left was a scar and that’s when I figured it all out. I needed a scar like that so I could stand out and become the bad boy in Hollywood. So, for the next three weeks I went to different bars and started fighting people but not just anybody, it had to be a knife yielding patron. I mean how else would I get the scar I needed. Some nights I even started a fight and tossed the other guy a knife just to ensure I could get a scar. I ended up securing more and more roles as the scars started to add up as well. Unfortunately for me, makeup artists got better at their craft and were able to add scars using makeup and my services were no longer needed. There is a happy ending to this story as I now have a bunch of tattoos with a ton of stories.Unfortunately for me not getting any more work in Hollywood has scarred me for life and my dream is now gone and it will forever hurt to think I couldn’t cut in Hollywood.”
