Coach Bobting has been coaching high school football and baseball for over 2 decades in Northbrook, IL. His success has been is mantra, “Sports First….School Second!” The result has been many state titles and opening up future opportunities that never existed for these kids.
We were able to grab the Coach and get some words with him, “These kids understand what it means to win…on top of it all, they can get any non-degreed job they want…the world is their oyster….I mean, come on, online education has made it so my cousin Lisa, who is an idiot, can get three degrees or do MLM marketing….if she focused on sports, she could have been an Olympic caliber swimmer…instead she is an investment banker married to a man who is cheating on her with his boyfriend Bart and they are adopting a kid named Morphie..WTF…..anyways…I am just glad we keep winning state titles and I have job security….love that name Bart!”
One athlete, named John Steinbeck (he wrote of Mice and Men for real), said for us to not use his name…..whatever…anyways, he had this to say, “I have D1 offers coming my way once I begin cheating on all my tests…coach said to focus on sports and he could find some kids to do the school work……in return, D1 scholarships and NIL money…..no brainer…….I am just glad I was into Horticulture long before this dumb ass class….those plants in my basement have been my lab work since I was 11…its all in the dope….state revenue my ass!”
