Ted Lasso Spinoff Coming to Apple TV +

For all the Ted Lasso fans out there, a spinoff series is gearing up for production. The first iteration struck a chord with viewers by bringing an American with no experience coaching soccer (football in Europe), to coach a mediocre pro team in England. The spinoff is about Ted Lasso becoming a rodeo cowboy with a surprising flair for lassoing (wait, is that actually a word?) livestock and other animals in rodeos across the American west.  Don’t worry, Ted’s buddy Beard will play a prominent role too. You guessed it, he’s Ted’s sidekick as a novice rodeo clown who gets knocked around while protecting Ted and learning the clown game. Think Yellowstone meets (the original) Ted Lasso. Sound like a terrible idea for a show? I agree, so blame the Hollywood writers’ strike since none of them could have come up with this loser.
