The Beer Minimum

Alcohol is coming under fire as there are studies coming out linking even moderate drinking to an early death. In an effort to keep sales up beer companies have started to push binge drinking as an alternative to moderate drinking. The beer companies call it buy more drink less often but when you do, drink more.

Marijuana dispensaries are looking to take advantage of this study and are offering a trade in policy. For every six pack you turn in they will give you a dime bag in return. We spoke with Doug Filpot, owner of Pot E. Mouth dispensary and he said, “Dude this is genius, we get beer, and they get to try our new stuff. Our staff is so good that we have a 94% customer retention rate. We then turn around and sell the beer to our neighborhood alcoholics who don’t care about the health issues. We are not evil; in fact, we donate 2% of our profits to fund liver research or something like that.”
