The Climber

World Class Climber Pierre LaCrouix has never met something he hasn’t wanted to or hasn’t climbed. In fact, Pierre is adding many more climbs to his list. Miami construction worker Mark Flores spoke of Pierre’s latest climb, “I get to my construction site and what do I see, this guy climbing my 100ft crane, it was pretty impressive if it were not for the fact that we had to wait 4 hours til he got down to get back to work. What also impressed me and bothered me at the same time was that he did that with no clothes on.” Later that week we spoke with Miami Zoo Keeper Marylin Dowdy about what she witnessed Pierre climb, “First off, I am not sure how he climbed our fences and got into the giraffe exhibit, but he did and the fact that he was able to climb Geoffrey’s long neck and hold onto his ears for so long was amazing. It was pretty cool to watch except for the fact that he butt naked.”

We tried to catch up with Pierre to get an exclusive but the nursing home in Miami would not allow us to speak with him for fear that he might escape. John Salazar of Oldie but Goody Nursing Home spoke with us about Pierre, “He is the ultimate escape artist, he can climb any wall no matter how high. We thought about barbed wire fences but since Pierre loves to climb naked, we thought that would be cruel. Why can’t this 86 year old climb Helga like the rest of our residents? I mean he is already naked for god’s sake, plus the blue hairs love that guy.”
