The Dickens

You’ve probably have heard of the Duggars and their huge family, but you may have not heard of the Dickens, but that may change soon. The Dickens family is a family with 12 kids aged 6 to 16 and they have come under fire recently for their new business. It turns out that the Dickens have started a business where they hire out their kids throughout the summer. We talked with Richard Dickens father of the 12 kids about his new business and this is what he had to say, “We help our local neighbors out by letting them rent our kids over the summer. In fact, just the other day Father O’Malley hired our 10-year-old for the day so he can go and see the new movie The Little Mermaid. It was a way for him to see the new kids’ movie and not feel weird by seeing it alone. He even used the little Dickens around the church for some chores and he paid good money to rent our kid. I know some naysayers will say aren’t the kids being used, and to that I say no. My kids get some of the money and experience good things like movies and such in fact, I believe Father O’Malley even took him for Donuts after the movie because when he came back, I saw some Bavarian cream still on his cheek.”
We also spoke with attorney Sue Anne Eewan and she said, “Ever since I hired out the 6 year old I get to drive in the HOV lane to work and it saves me 30 minutes a day. I also have a gopher ready to make copies and get me coffee and it is so much cheaper than an assistant and all I need is an extra iPad to keep him busy when he is on breaks.”
Time will tell how long the Dickens will be able to get away with it, but for now it looks like it will continue. The Dickens reportedly are saving thousands of dollars by not having to send their kids to camp. The hope is that with the money they are saving, they will now be able to afford the vasectomy Richard desperately needs.
