Tyson Rules

Mike Tyson is back in the news again and for a good reason. Mike is trying to start a new league with exciting new rules or in this case just one major rule change. Tyson Rules Boxing has the exact same rules as normal boxing; however they allow biting. The rule change is not just allowed it is encouraged.  The boxing league awards points for causing ear bleeds or even removing a chunk of the ear.

Uppercut Marketing the company marketing Tyson’s new league explained the rule change. Ron Ding, head marketer explained “We figured if we normalized biting, especially the ears that over time people will see the Tyson Holyfield fights in a new light and think Mike’s biting was a great boxing move.” We at MediaPub.Live are not sure how many boxers will join this new exciting league, but the new rule has given them something to chew on.
