World Taekwondo Federation 6 years later

The World Taekwondo Federation changed its name from WTF to just, World Taekwondo in 2017, to avoid the unwanted ridicule every time it was referenced as “WTF.”
The federation’s original name was used since its establishment in 1973. However, their president Dong Tong Fong (who goes by his nickname “DTF”), felt that it was important to rebrand the Federation to engage better with fans.
“It’s the digital age, and we needed to change with the times. Since 1973, we have been known as the World Taekwondo Federation. Over the following 50 years we have grown taekwondo into the global sport it is today with 200+ nations. We have led taekwondo to the Olympic Games and into the new decade, and into the Paralympic Games.”
When asked how would Paraplegic athletes compete in TKD since it only involves kicking, DTF said, “Well, they would have to try Wheelie hard. Get it? Wheelie, hard?? Just kidding, please don’t print that.”
It’s now 2023 and some critics have said that TKD is too violent and many people have been knocked out and/or had teeth and bones broken, and they are trying to ban the sport from the Olympics.
DTF responded by saying, “Boxing and wrestling, and even hockey has inherent dangers of people getting hurt, but they are allowed? Anyways people have spoken and we have listened. We will make it even more of a sport and create new laws to make things safer. Thus, we will shortly announce, the World Taekwondo Athletic Friends.
As far as I know, no one will have issues with the WTAF.”
