You Can Now Mortgage Your Gas

Gas prices continue to climb. A new bank in Maine has built a pipeline of loans to help people pay for their gas. The Bank is called “Gas of America”. The way it works is you essentially sign up for a loan to pay for your gas through the year. In return, customers are expected to pay the principal of the loan back plus a little over the prime rate interest. Additionally, you are forced to run a marathon with two sweatshirts on in June in Phoenix Arizona. We spoke with the folks from Gas of America about this race and here is what they had to say, “Is the mortgage money worth running in Phoenix summer…..well, you gotta be a real dumbass to take that on….however our CEO who is a complete prick thinks its a great idea and he is making a shit ton of money….he also says if you die you can collect on life insurance if you have it…says it’s s a real bonus!”
