Swalwell Exits California Governor’s Race After Assault Allegations at The Zoo

Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell’s abrupt exit from the race for governor is due to assault allegations.  The allegations made it necessary to step away from politics and get his life back in order. We spoke with Eric and here is what he had to say, “I was at the zoo visiting the chimpanzee exhibit. Two chimpanzees started sticking their big pink tongues out at me and making faces. I beat both of them up. Steve Bannon who is not a licensed attorney is going to represent me. He said he committed the same crime at the zoo and was released to the wild immediately. Cuff me now. “
