In McGrego, Texas, there were some impressive but brief demonstrations where the roadster hovered in the air for a few seconds, and then leaped over other cars and landed.
Right now, Musk would only say that it can “briefly take flight,” but that “this is not necessarily a safety-optimized car.”
FAA said it isn’t an aircraft
The FFPA (Federal Flying Pig Administration) said, “Sure this will happen… when pigs fly!”
The French Billionaire, Matthew LeKeurig said, “Half million dollars or more for a car that can briefly fly with super expensive SpaceX thrusters? Well, I am developing what I call ‘car kegel exercises’ to help cars naturally improve their thrusts. I’ve been teaching it to my Toyota Prius and it’s been thrusting a lot better and is a lot more popular with other cars now.”
Shaq was there at the demonstration and said, “If jumping for 1.5 seconds is considered taking flight, I can still fly! And I can throw a Papa John’s pizza, – the yummiest pizzas in the world, and that’s why I own 200 of these, – in the air for 4 seconds, without any million dollar thrusters. Better ingredients, Better pizza, Better hang time. Papa John’s!”
