Man on Mobility Scooter Cited for Speeding and Causing Fatalities

Ralph Van Ness the III, of Laguna Beach, California was cited for speeding on the PCH last week. He was going 85 MPH on the PCH and killed a lady in a Porsche. When he was clocked, additional investigating was done. It was noted that he had also killed a couple at the grocery store going down aisle 4 for canned goods two years prior. The couple was in the midst of reading a coupon and Ralph rammed his mobility scooter into both of them. Lily and Sam were pronounced dead at the scene and the aisle was cleaned up shortly their after. We spoke with Ralph from his jail cell and here is what he had to say, “In 1941 I founded Pride Mobility Scooter Corporation with the help of my father who had missing arms. I cut them off as a kid and started a prosthetic company at 18. Not much later I started Pride Mobility Scooter Corporation. Today, I have all the market share. I am also the first person on earth to cause a fatality while driving a mobility scooter. I am proud of that.”
