BREAKING: ‘Access Hollywood’ Cancelled After 30 Years… Hosts Thrilled to Enter “Exciting Phase of Not Being Hired Anywhere”

LOS ANGELES – After nearly three decades on air, Access Hollywood has officially been cancelled. This will leave hosts Mario Lopez, Kit Hoover, Scott Evans, and Zuri Hall incredibly positive and upbeat about what they are calling “a bold new chapter of total uncertainty.”

“All good things come to an end,” said Mario Lopez, smiling with the confidence of a man who has not yet checked his phone. “And this is great. Honestly, I love not knowing what’s next. That’s where the magic happens. Or not. As my idol, President Donald Trump, says, ‘We’ll see what happens.’”

Kit Hoover agreed, calling the cancellation “a huge opportunity to reflect and possibly never work in Entertainment again.” She continued, “But I have a lot of other things I can do around the house, too.”

“I’m excited,” she said. “You don’t get moments like this often. It’s exciting. Butterflies in the belly. Your entire industry is disappearing at the same time you are.”

Scott Evans described the news as “freeing.”

“For years, we’ve been tied down to jobs, paychecks, and relevance,” Evans explained. “Now? Nothing. Just wide open space. No calls. No emails. Nothing. Just alone. By myself. Nothing. Just… alone.”

Zuri Hall echoed the optimism, noting that she hasn’t heard from her agent since the announcement. She described this as “not the best sign,” then tilted her head and smiled wide as she enthusiastically said, “But I think it could be.”

“Silence means things are happening,” Hall said confidently. “Big things. Or no things. Either way, I feel great about it. Or, not so much”

NBCUniversal confirmed the cancellation as part of a broader shift away from traditional entertainment news. Industry experts describe this as “viewers finally realizing they can just look at their phones to get the same news, but faster, instead of having to wait until 7:30 to see it on television.”

Despite the shake-up, the hosts remain extremely positive about their future prospects, while concentrating on “thinking about ideas and refreshing their emails.”

Lopez added that he’s already exploring new opportunities. “I’m open to anything,” he said. “Acting, hosting, podcasts, maybe just walking around being recognizable. That’s still something, right?”

At the same time, Hoover revealed she’s taking a “strategic pause,” which she defined as “waiting to see if anything happens.”

Meanwhile, Evans said he’s focused on growth.

“Personal growth. Spiritual growth. Growing concerned. Growing anxious. Growing worried.”

As for Hall, she remains confident that the industry will come calling.

“They always do,” she said. “Eventually. Probably. Maybe.”

The show will continue airing through the summer, giving fans time to say goodbye and the hosts time to remain extremely positive while quietly realizing this might actually be it.

The hosts say this all about “opportunity.”

None have specified “opportunity” for what, but they are very excited about it.
