Major Hotel Chains Offer Customers Medical Diagnostics

The hotel industry was severely impacted by the Corona Virus driving revenues down. In an attempt to find new revenue streams several major hotels are offering colonoscopies and hernia checks onsite in your room. Customers can request a gloveless colonoscopy if they so desire. The doctors onsite are not crazy about going gloveless, but several doctors said they would be wiling to give it a try. There has also been a surge of non MD volunteers willing to check for hernias. We spoke with one of the volunteers and here is what she had to say, “I hope I can find the right patient to cough many times and I hope they don’t mind a big squeeze each time. If they complain, hey, I am a volunteer, be grateful. I could be saving your life. No white glove treatment here, gloveless is the way to go.”
